The retreats (separate weekends for men and women) are held at St. Clare Catholic Church from Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon for women and men of our parish ages 21 and older.
If you have already registered, thank you! The retreat team looks forward to meeting you. Be on the lookout for an email giving more details about the weekend, what to bring and what to expect.

Do you sense that something’s missing in your life? Are you wondering if you might be spending your time on the wrong things? Is there a way to be happier and more fulfilled? Do you want to get to know other parishioners and feel a part of your parish community? Come to the next Welcome Weekend!
This retreat experience might help you discover what’s missing in your life through shared stories, listening and laughter. This is a weekend to enjoy the fellowship of other St. Clare parishioners, great food and fun, all while developing lasting and meaningful relationships and refocusing on what is most important in life.
Who attends the Retreat? Welcome is a retreat for St.Clare parishioners, ages 21 and older, of all backgrounds and faith journeys. We enjoy great fellowship, have fun and share delicious meals together. Due to limited space, we encourage you to register early to secure your spot!
Will I have to talk in front of people? After brief introductions, participants are encouraged to share in small groups. The extent to which you engage in discussion is up to you.
Is there a lot of solitary prayer? There will be opportunities for quiet reflection, but the retreat also includes listening to retreat team members share parts of their stories, talking in small groups, and learning from and about one another.
What will my family do without me? This may be a wonderful opportunity for family members to have some quality time without you. You also may find that your retreat helps to strengthen relationships at home!
Do I have to sleep at church? You are encouraged to sleep there, but it is not required. Don’t let that be a reason not to join us! (Bring your air mattress and dry shampoo, as there are no shower facilities.)
What should I wear? Dress is casual and comfortable. (We will include a packing list in your confirmation email.)
What about food? Food is provided and plentiful. Please note any dietary restrictions on your registration form.
