SUNDAY, APRIL 30 @ 3:00 PM - Stella Markou, soprano & Masterworks Chorale​. Lyric Viennese inspirations by Franz Schubert, the “Prince of Song” - this concert features the lyrical Mass in G for chorus and orchestra, along with several of Schubert’s most famous Lieder (German art songs), including Du bist die Ruh (“You are Repose”) and An die Musik (“To Music”); and Schubert’s famous Ave Maria and the virtuosic Der Hirt auf dem Felsen (“Shepherd on the Rock”), sung by guest soprano Stella Markou (University of Kansas) with clarinetist Jeanine York-Garesche.
